Sometimes life just happens. I never really believed my elders when they’d say, “When you get older, time flies”. It’s so true. Within the last several months a lot has happened. I started school again! My company has an education program that nobody was utilizing, so I figured I’d go back and at least work on getting a bachelors for free. It seems like these days employers want you to have a bachelors degree to stock a shelf. Crazy world we live in. My first classes were Business 101 and English Comp 2. My business class was cake and the instructor was pretty laid back, however the English Comp course was not my favorite. As you scan through my posts I’m sure you’ll clock plenty of errors, but it wasn’t just the challenge for me, It was the content. What we had to write about was boring, and if you’re not enjoying what you’re writing, it’s such a slog and a mental drain. However I pushed through and ended up with an ‘A’. I’m not sure how because I was not at all confident in my papers, but I did it! Perseverance does pay off. Also, I’m thankful for the modern spellcheck and grammar tools.

I decided to pause school until the 2nd fall session. Summertime is not only busy time at work, it’s also too nice outside to be stuck inside studying.

I’ve also been having a sort of internal battle with my depression which has made it tough to get motivated with finishing my first album. I’m doing alright now, just a lot of personal things I’ve got to digest and hopefully I can get back on track to finishing that up.

Life is but a vapor, and that is why I’m going to do my best to make the most of what I’ve got. I hope everyone has a fine day.
