Choirs. There’s something beautiful about a large group of people getting together and singing in harmony. It’s the best of humanity, the things we keep going for, and a future we hope for. I used to sing in our church choir as a child, and there are many fond memories there. That’s where I learned to sing with others, how to harmonize, and add my part to the whole. It’s such a fun social interaction, and one that tickles my little mammal brain. I also find it beautiful when the choir is made up of people of different backgrounds, cultures, etc. To see folks come together to produce something beautiful is a sensory delight, and in my case, a bit of sensory overload.
