Happy Accidents

I’m still new to the analog synth scene. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase an Arturia PolyBrute 12 last year, and it’s quite the inspirational machine for me (and I’m glad as it is not a cheap machine).

I started out creating a patch, not knowing what I’m doing, but the fun of it is stumbling on these happy accidents. As I was playing around with modulations and LFOs I created this pad that sounded like rustling leaves. I then picked out a DX7 inspired FM Piano on my Kronos, linked them via MIDI and off I went.

When creating this little tune, I was trying to imagine a crisp fall morning, coffee in hand watching the leaves blow and rustle in the wind.

Sometimes the happy little accidents are the most fun when you’re in the creative zone.

Take care,
Stōbe
